![]() Gawd, Random Guy, there is simply NOTHING one needs to add to this model, other than a coffee cup holder.and perhaps the heel/toe shifter, the Tall Boy rider back-rest, and the larger rear brake pad, that I did indeed install upon delivery, Other than that.the 2018-2021 SVTC is a creature-comfort/appointment-feature rich POWERHOUSE! Was then in 2018.and still is today, post E.O.L.! Nothing out there, touches it.as stock. ![]() replacement and rebuild parts.we are still in the personal sweet-spot for proudly owning this Grand Tour platform. For us.in 2018, we did not want a 6th gen Goldwing, to replace our 2008 GL1800, did not want to go Harley Davidson (at the time), and so looking back, buying the 2018 SVTC was not only the 'right' decision for my wife and I, (mostly.I, right (smile!), but in the last 4 years of great Warranty free (other than the stuck front brake switch, and the starter recall) ownership and ride'age, it was a good move.and now that I know, I can get for the next 12 thentic O.E.M. We are (my wife and myself) looking so forward to a GREAT and busy, riding season this coming summer, upon our 2018 SVTC.God Willing! so personally not sweating it at all.I got the bike.I own the bike.and we love riding the bike.and that is truly, truly what only matters (for us), from here on out. So.who knows at my age, if I will still even be riding my SVTC, or any bike for that matter in 12 years.or (gulp!) even be on this side of the 'Green'. Post Edit: So, if Yamaha will still make (to even have manufactured.) parts.even TupperWare, for the next 12 years after E.O.L., I can see where my dealer said that he could get parts even 20 years (eight years longer than the last Yamaha Mandate year to guarantee parts to be available to this model.still being 'out there' in the delivery chain. Yes, is official, and no forum member rumor.and anybody can call the Hotline, or Customer Service themselves to verify any of what I have posted here, if they feel they must. So there you have it.a great bike.a most capable Grand Tour Heavy-Class bike, that was from the get go.totally mishandled (my personal opinion) by Yamaha Corp.and a four year E.O.L. That is standard Yamaha Company policy (perhaps legal?!?) for all E.O.L. (this year.2022, the 2021 model, being the last year of factory production). And was told that Yamaha, although the model is now E.O.L, will indeed insure that all parts will be available to maintain/repair the model(s) for a 12 year guaranteed forward projection, after the E.O.L. I asked about warranty and parts manufacture. It was a four year run.and only any stock still within North America will be available to be purchased. So folks.(and you are most welcome to also call the Yamaha SVTC hotline number.for yourselves.) the model is INDEED End of Life designated. She put me on hold.and two minutes later, came back to the conversation to say that yes, indeed, both models have ceased production, and the model is off the current year manufacture catalog. I just got off the phone with a Customer Service Agent (on the dedicated SVTC hotline) based out of Yamaha Corp USA, and asked her to verify (for me.) if the SVTC and Eluder was STILL be produced and manufactured in Yamaha's Japan factory. I still wished myself to hear it from the 'Yamaha horses' mouth'. Although my dealer called about sourcing a white 2021 SVTC for me.(was just throwing that around with him last Saturday as I waited for my recall starter to be installed.) and after calling two other dealers that showed they had one in stock, and they both refusing to trade/sell to my dealer.and after calling Yamaha Canada Wharehouse directly to inquire, and been told they have no SVTC's now still in stock, and will not be getting any further from production in Japan.
